Space simulation facilities are expensive to operate, with zero tolerance for failure. These giant vacuum chambers are developed to test and refine equipment and instruments intended to function in the challenging high vacuum, high solar radiation, low temperature environment of outer space. That's why literally every major space simulation facility in the U.S., as well as many overseas facilities, depends on Douglas Ductorseal/PotCon feedthroughs. We offer many options, from high-density wire harness packages to the convenient “In Line” PBTR PotCon Quick Disconnect that allows easy testing via existing instrument connectors.
